On 6 December 2016, IVASS (the Italian Insurance Supervisory Authority) published Regulation n. 33, concerning public disclosure and reporting.
The Regulation, which will enter into force the day after its publication in the Italian Official Gazette, aims at implementing the following EIOPA Guidelines:
- Guidelines on reporting and public disclosure
- Guidelines on the methods for determining the market shares for reporting
- Guidelines on supervisory review process
The proceedings provided for by articles 28, 29 and 30 will be applicable for the first time with reference to the reporting activities concerning Q1 2017.
