- regulatory technical standards on liquidity horizons for the alternative method of internal models referred to in Article 325p(7) of that Regulation;
- regulatory technical standards specifying the criteria for assessing the modelability of risk factors under the internal models approach as well as the frequency of such assessment under Article 325q(3) of that Regulation;
- the regulatory technical standards specifying the technical features of the requirements for back-testing and profit and loss allocation pursuant to Articles 325w and 325e of Regulation (EU) No. 575/2013;
In line with its mission, the EBA proactively drives convergence in resolution practices through the selection of topics deserving European traction. In doing so, the EBA builds on its expertise in EU-wide policy development, its role in colleges, as well as resolution authorities’ practical experience.
Resolution authorities are expected to consider the following key topics when developing their 2023 priorities:
- how MREL shortfalls are being addressed;
- the development of management information systems for valuation in resolution;
- preparations for managing liquidity needs in resolution;
- Operationalisation of the bail-in strategy.
