Consob has ordered the blackout of the following websites that abusively offer financial services. 

The number of websites blacked out since July 2019 by Consob has thus risen to 537.

Consob and IVASS have signed a framework agreement for collaboration and coordination in their respective control activities.

The agreement provides:

– the commitment of each Authority to provide the other with the widest and most effective collaboration and to contain the burdens on the supervised entities;

– a unitary framework of principles for subsequent memoranda of understanding on matters of common interest that will also be stipulated for the implementation of national provisions for implementing European legislation;

– the establishment, as a privileged venue for collaboration and coordination, of contact committees (strategic and technical);

– general rules on the confidentiality regime of the information exchanged and on relations with other Authorities/institutions/bodies.

Con comunicato del 20 ottobre la UIF ha annunciato che, nel rispetto di quanto previsto nelle Disposizioni di Banca d’Italia del 24 marzo 2020 in tema di conservazione (“Disposizioni per la conservazione e la messa a disposizione dei documenti, dei dati e delle informazioni per il contrasto del riciclaggio e del finanziamento del terrorismo“), a partire da gennaio 2022, tre causali utilizzate in precedenza (U3, U4 e G5) non saranno più accettate sia per le segnalazioni di operazioni sospette (campo “Tipologia dell’operazione”), sia per le comunicazioni oggettive (campo “Causale analitica”).

The European Supervisory Authorities (ESAs) have opened today a call for evidence regarding the PRIIPs Regulation.

The input provided will feed into the ESAs’ technical advice to the European Commission on a review of the key information document (KID) for PRIIPs.

The ESAs are requesting information from stakeholders on a range of topics including the practical application of the existing KID such as its use by financial advisors or the use of digital media, the scope of the PRIIPs Regulation and  the degree of complexity and readability of the KID.

The call for evidence is open until 16 December 2021.

EBA has published today its advice to the EU Commission on funding in resolution and insolvency as part of the review of the crisis management and deposit insurance (CMDI) framework.

The EBA response provides a quantitative analysis on banks’ capacity to access available sources of funding under the current framework and under various creditor hierarchies, and with regards to the minimum requirement for own funds and eligible liabilities (MREL).
